“I’m not techie!” If I had 5 dollars for every time… Well you know what I’m about to say. How many times do you say this to yourself, instead of saying what you really mean? What you really mean is… “I don’t want to!” “I like the old way!” “The new way is too hard!!!” I’ll let you in on a secret. We’re all techies – some of us just need more practice. And as technology continues to grow and evolve, we’ll need all the practice we can get. Amazon Echos and Google Homes are here to stay. Smart homes will soon be the standard model; they’ll come equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology, and connected living will be an even greater part of our every day. So, how can we practice being better techies? First, we need to get in the right mindset. Technology was created to help us. Think of all the ways technology improves our lives and makes every day tasks simpler. Like in business. One of my personal passions is tech for business! I love that I can ask Alexa to add something to my to-do list, or use Evernote to keep track of my notes and share them with my team. But how does that help me in my business? It’s simple actually. It clears out the wasted space these tasks take up in my head, and gives me room to create and implement. It’s a great feeling when you can use technology to clear the clutter. Ready to explore your techie side and see it how it can grow your business? Or maybe you don’t know quite where to start? Let’s talk! Schedule a quick 15-minute call and ask me all your questions.
